14 Teams, 13 Countries, 4 Continents…
This sounds like an ad for the “Amazing Race” TV show, but it represents the 195 people we sent to tell the teenagers of the world about Jesus in 2014. As a result, 13,959 students heard a clear presentation of the gospel with 1,391 of them indicating to us that they asked Christ to be the Lord of their lives!! All who are interested are given the chance to connect with believers in their own country so they can grow in their faith. I wish I could share with you all the amazing things the Lord has done on our missions, but this letter would become a book! Instead, I picked out a couple of my favorite stories that I hope encourage you greatly…
Miracle in the ER
After stepping on a BBQ skewer on a beach in Puerto Rico, Stevie (from California), expressed his desire for God to use the unfortunate accident for some good purpose during a seven-hour visit to the ER. While there, the team met two brothers, Joshua and Scott, who were students at the local high school nearby. Joshua had a fractured neck and was happy to have some people pray for him. Angel, who spoke Spanish, shared with them about how they could begin a relationship with Jesus. Before too long, they both eagerly placed their faith in Christ!
Spiritually Hungry in Hungary
Two students from Houston, Will and Felipe, initiated with two Hungarian students at a park in Budapest. One spoke English and one didn’t. As they shared their faith and went through a “Connecting With God” booklet with them, the student that spoke English translated the conversation into Hungarian for his friend. When they came to the end of the booklet, the English-speaking student said that he didn’t have Christ in his life and wasn’t interested in making that decision. However, he said his friend was interested! He prayed in Hungarian to begin a relationship with Jesus. It’s amazing how God used an unbeliever to lead someone to Himself!

-That all the students who trusted Christ would be “good soil” that multiplies (Matt. 13:23).
-For spiritual movements to grow in every location we sent teams.
-For wisdom as we decide where to send teams in 2015.
